D-ICS

Orbit offers a highly intelligible, secure audio InterCommunication System for two seater aircraft such as trainers and fighters (fixed and rotary wing). Supporting up to 2 users, 3 radios, 12 receiving inputs as well as recording outputs, the D-ICS is a COTS (Commercial-Off-The-Shelf) system, adaptable and expandable to any configuration requirement, providing the operators with crisp and clear communication.

D-ICS integrates the routing and distribution of audio using the central AIU (Audio Interface Unit) and one ACP (Audio Control Panel) for each station. This enables communication between the pilot and the co-pilot and the external audio sources and/or audio received from other systems such as radar altimeter warning, RWR, WMS etc.
